For support calls

Help the customer without putting them on hold.

Aside listens to the call, catches the customer’s question, and streams an answer beside your call using the troubleshooting notes and documents you gave it. When they share their screen, Screen Assist reads what’s on it.

For support calls

Fewer holds, fewer callbacks.

Aside listens for the question and has an answer ready while you’re still talking.

Answers from your docs

Add troubleshooting notes, known issues or a product document to your profile. Answers use them as context, so they match how your product actually works.

Reads the error on screen

When a customer shares their screen, one hotkey answers what’s on it: an error message, a settings page, a form. Turn Screen Assist on in Settings.

Knows who’s talking

Every line is tagged You or Them, so Aside answers the customer’s question, not yours.

Ask anything mid-call

Press ⌥⌘A or Ctrl+Alt+A to type a question, like the steps to reset a setting, and keep talking while the answer streams in.

Notes for the ticket

Press Wrap up after the call for an overview, the customer’s questions, action items and a follow-up email draft.

Audio stays on your computer

Calls are transcribed on your computer. Aside’s servers don’t store your conversations.

A shift with Aside

Before, during and after.

01

Before your shift

Add your troubleshooting notes and product documents to your profile.

02

On the call

Answers appear as the customer asks. Use Screen Assist when they share their screen.

03

After the call

Wrap up the session and paste the summary and action items into the ticket.

What Aside is, and isn’t

Aside is for the agent on the call. It isn’t a help desk: it doesn’t create tickets, connect to your help desk software or report on your team. It sits beside the call and helps you answer.

Questions about support calls

Can it use our help center articles?

Yes, as notes or a document you add to your profile. Aside uses them as context for its answers.

What about our customers’ privacy?

Calls are transcribed on your computer. When Aside answers, it sends the question and a short transcript excerpt to generate the answer, and doesn’t store them. Check your company’s policy on AI tools for customer calls first. The privacy policy has the details.

Does it work with our phone system?

If the call plays through your computer, like a softphone or a browser dialer, Aside can hear it.

Which plan fits support work?

Each person has their own plan. Pro ($19 a month) covers 600 answers a month with Screen Assist included. Max ($39 a month) adds the Max model and 1,500 answers.
